Silent disco party hire: celebrate at home and dance till late
Silent disco party hire turns a rooftop, a club-house function room or a village-house garden into a dance floor without a knock on the door from the neighbours. Loud in the headphones, quiet through the walls.

Hong Kong homes are close together. A rooftop in Kowloon looks straight into a dozen windows, a flat in Mid-Levels shares its walls with neighbours on three sides, and even a village house in the New Territories has someone sleeping next door. That is why so many private parties end early, or never quite start. A silent disco solves it neatly: the music plays in wireless headphones, so your guests get full volume and the building gets a quiet night.
It suits birthdays and milestone parties, engagement and farewell parties, a reunion with old schoolmates, a party on a rented terrace or in a residential club house. Your guests choose between up to three channels, a DJ friend, a Spotify playlist or a karaoke-style throwback selection, and the LED on each headphone glows in the colour of that channel. We deliver the kit charged and sanitised one or two days before the party, with instructions. For a party in Sai Kung or Yuen Long, a village house with a garden becomes a proper dance floor.
Why a silent disco suits a house party
Party at home, really
Rooftops, terraces, flats and club houses become usable for music at night, because the sound stays in the headphones.
Three playlists at once
One channel for Cantopop and throwbacks, one for current hits, one for whoever wants to DJ. No arguments over the aux cable.
Every age at the same party
Each guest sets their own volume, so children, parents and grandparents can share the same evening comfortably.
The glow effect
Dim the lights and the LED headphones turn even a small living room into a light show that looks great on Instagram.
Easy conversation
Lift one ear cup to chat, then dive back into the music. The room stays relaxed instead of shouting over speakers.
Everything in one kit
Headphones, transmitters, chargers and spares arrive together, ready to use, with clear instructions.

Share the date and the numbers
Tell us the date, the place and roughly how many guests will dance. You receive a quote with prices and a call from a consultant within 24 hours.
Sort out the music
Connect a phone, a laptop or a DJ controller to the transmitters. Prepare up to three playlists, or invite friends to take turns on the decks.
Switch on and hand out
When the kit arrives, test it, then hand out the headphones as guests arrive. Show them the channel button and the volume dial, and let the party begin.
How many headphones for a party at home?
For a private party, count the guests who will be dancing at the busiest moment rather than every name on the list. A birthday of 30 friends works well with a kit of up to 50 headphones; a large engagement party or a village-house party of 80 is comfortable with up to 100.
- Up to 50 headphones: HK$2,200–3,500, indicative, for a single event.
- Up to 100 headphones: HK$4,000–6,200, indicative.
- Transmitter: the TX-330 has a built-in battery, ideal for rooftops and gardens without a socket nearby.
- Delivery: anywhere in Hong Kong, quoted separately, one or two days before the party.
A security deposit is required and returned once the kit is back and checked. All details are on the prices page, and you can ask for a custom quote in a couple of minutes.
Tips for a silent disco party at home
- Ask the building: check the rules of your rooftop or club house for guest numbers and closing times; the headphones solve the noise, not the access.
- Name the channels: call them after the people choosing the music, or after decades: 80s Cantopop, 2000s, now.
- Light it low: fairy lights or a dimmed lamp make the LEDs stand out.
- A charging corner: the headphones last up to 10 hours, so you will not need it during the night; use it after the party to keep everything in one place.
- Kids' parties: set the volume low before handing out headphones and keep an adult at the station.
- Summer heat: on a rooftop in July, put drinks and fans where the dancing is, and keep the transmitter in the shade.
- Count back in: a box by the door and a quick count at the end make the return simple.

Questions about: private parties & birthdays
How much does silent disco party hire cost?
As an indicative guide, up to 50 headphones cost HK$2,200–3,500 and up to 100 cost HK$4,000–6,200 for a single event. Delivery within Hong Kong is quoted separately, and a refundable deposit is required.
Can I use my phone instead of a DJ?
Yes. Connect a phone or laptop to the transmitter with a cable and play your playlists. With two or three devices you can run two or three channels.
Is it suitable for kids' parties?
Yes. The volume is adjustable on every headphone, and children love the coloured lights. Hand them out with the volume low and keep an adult nearby.
Does it work on a rooftop or in a garden at night?
Yes. The signal reaches up to 500 metres, the headphones run up to 10 hours and the TX-330 transmitter runs on its own battery, so you do not need a socket next to the dance floor.
Do you organise the party for me?
No. We rent the headphones and transmitters and explain how to use them. The venue, the music and the guests are yours.
