Silent disco corporate events your team will talk about
Silent disco corporate events give your people a party that fits any venue, from a hotel ballroom in Wan Chai to a harbour-view event space in Kwun Tong. Three channels, full sound, nothing spilling into the corridor.

Hong Kong's corporate calendar has two peaks: the Christmas and year-end parties in December, and the annual dinners and spring dinners (春茗) after Chinese New Year. Add product launches, team-building days, client receptions and conference after-parties, and HR and event teams are always looking for something fresh. A silent disco gives the dance floor a new energy while the rest of the room can still talk, network and enjoy the lucky draw.
It works in hotel ballrooms where the next function room is only a partition away, in office towers and event spaces in Central or Kwun Tong where noise carries, and on rooftops and terraces where amplified music stops early. You or your event agency bring the DJ or the playlists; we supply the headphones and transmitters. For large or complex functions, rental with assistance covers delivery, set-up and technicians on the night. Because everyone chooses their own channel and volume, colleagues of every age and background find something they enjoy, and the evening feels inclusive rather than loud. Headphones arrive cleaned, sanitised and charged one or two days before the function, so your team can test the set-up with the venue's AV crew in advance.
Why silent disco corporate events work
Fits the venue's rules
Hotels and event spaces with sound limits or neighbouring functions can still host a full dance floor.
Everyone joins in
The headphones break the ice across departments and levels. Even the shyest colleagues end up singing along.
Three channels, three moods
Cantopop, international hits and electronic music at once, or a DJ battle between teams with the LEDs showing the score.
Networking stays possible
Guests who want to talk shop can do it at the tables without shouting, while the floor keeps dancing.
Brand moments
A sea of coloured headphones looks great in photos and videos for internal communications and social media.
More than music
A channel can carry a speech, a presentation or a guided tour, useful for conferences and launches.
From brief to dance floor
Send us the brief
Date, venue, number of guests and programme. You receive a custom quote and a call from a consultant within 24 hours.
Plan sound and logistics
Together with your team or agency we define channels, transmitters, delivery and, if needed, assistance with set-up and technicians.
Run the evening
Headphones are handed out at a station near the floor; your DJ or playlists start and the party runs without disturbing anyone outside.
Configuring headphones for a company function
At an annual dinner, people dance in waves between the courses, the speeches and the lucky draw. For 300 guests, around 200 headphones usually cover the peak; for a launch or Christmas party of 80, up to 100 is comfortable.
- Up to 100 headphones: HK$4,000–6,200, indicative, single event.
- Up to 200 headphones: HK$7,500–8,800, indicative.
- Up to 500 headphones: HK$15,000–17,600, indicative, for large functions and town halls.
- Transmitters: TX-350 for multi-channel set-ups, TX-500 for very large rooms.
- Assistance: delivery, set-up and technicians are quoted separately.
For a series of events, look at the rental formulas: long-term rental and tailor made projects of at least three events get an optimised price. Ask for your custom quote.
Tips for a successful company silent disco
- Book early: December and the weeks after Chinese New Year are the busiest of the year for hotels and for headphones alike.
- Brand the channels: name them after teams, offices or product lines.
- Plan the switch: run speeches and the lucky draw on the venue's speakers, then dim the lights and open the headphone station.
- Staff the station: two people at a table hand out 200 headphones in a few minutes.
- Team battle: two DJs, two colours, and the department with the most dancers wins.
- Brief the venue: tell the hotel's banqueting team where the station and the transmitters will go.
- Collect at the exit: a returns point by the door, ideally near the cloakroom or the lift lobby.

Questions about: corporate events
Can you handle functions with hundreds of guests?
Yes. Silentsystem supplies over 1,200 events a year and has a fleet of more than 50,000 headphones across its group. Up to 1,000 headphones is an indicative HK$25,500–35,000 for a single event; larger numbers are quoted on request.
Do you work with event agencies and production companies?
Yes. Many of our clients are agencies, production companies and hotels. Long-term rental and tailor made formulas are designed for them.
Can the headphones be used for presentations too?
Yes. One channel can carry a speaker's microphone or a video soundtrack, which works well for product launches and conferences in open spaces.
How is the price worked out?
By the number of headphones and the formula chosen. Delivery within Hong Kong, assistance and technicians are quoted separately. The cost per guest drops as numbers grow.
How far ahead should we book an annual dinner?
As soon as the venue is confirmed. For December parties and spring dinners after Chinese New Year, two to three months ahead is sensible.
