Silent disco Central: a dance floor among the towers
A silent disco in Central puts a dance floor among the towers of Hong Kong's business district without a single speaker facing the street. Our 3-channel headphones arrive charged, tested and ready for your guests.

Central works hard and celebrates in style. After-work drinks spill out of Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo, banks and law firms book function rooms for annual dinners, and junk boats leave the piers every weekend in the cooler months. The catch is always the same: office towers, hotels and residential blocks sit shoulder to shoulder, and amplified music rarely survives late into the evening. With silent disco headphones the beat stays in your guests' ears, so the party carries on and the building manager stays relaxed.
Silentsystem has designed its own headphones since 2012 and now supports more than 1,200 events a year in over 15 countries. In Hong Kong your kit leaves our New Territories warehouse and reaches your Central address one or two days before the event, with transmitters, chargers and spare headsets in the same delivery. Every headset offers three channels, so a DJ, a Cantopop playlist and a throwback mix can run side by side. New to the format? Start with how a silent disco works.
Where to hold a silent disco in Central
Central packs harbour views, heritage courtyards and rooftop terraces into a few hundred metres. Most of them share one rule: keep the volume down.
Central Harbourfront
The open lawns and event space along the Central Harbourfront look straight across Victoria Harbour. A headphone party there keeps the music personal while the skyline does the decorating.
Rooftops around Wyndham Street
Rooftop bars above Wyndham Street and Queen's Road Central are made for sunset sessions. Headphones let you keep dancing long after the speakers would normally be switched off for the neighbours.
Heritage courtyards: Tai Kwun and PMQ
The courtyards of Tai Kwun and PMQ welcome markets, talks and private hire. Wireless headphones need no rigging on historic walls and leave the space as quiet as you found it.
Hotel ballrooms and office floors
Five-star hotels and Grade A offices between Chater Road and Admiralty are the classic setting for company celebrations. Guests network in calm, then press a button to join the dance floor.
Silent party in Central: which events
Annual dinners and Christmas parties
From November to the end of the spring dinner season, Central's diary fills with company celebrations. A silent party works in a ballroom or an open-plan office, and three channels let partners and interns each pick their sound. More ideas on our corporate events page.
Junk trips from the Central piers
Junks heading out from the Central piers towards the southern bays are a local favourite. The battery-powered TX-330 transmitter needs no mains socket, and nobody has to shout over the engine.
Launches and brand nights
Fashion, finance and tech brands present new products in Central's galleries and showrooms. A silent disco adds a visual moment as every LED glows in the colour of the channel each guest has chosen.

Silent disco in Central: FAQ
Do you deliver silent disco headphones to Central?
Yes. The kit ships from our New Territories warehouse and arrives at your office, hotel or venue one or two days before the event. Delivery costs appear in your quote.
Can we use the headphones on a junk leaving from Central?
Yes. The TX-330 transmitter has a built-in battery and each headphone plays for up to 10 hours, so you need no power on board.
Will headphones keep us within our building's noise rules?
The music stays inside the headphones, so the room is far quieter than with speakers. Do check the house rules of your venue or building management too.
When should we book for the Christmas and spring dinner season?
As early as possible. Dates from late November to the end of the spring dinner season go first.
Is a DJ included in the rental?
No. Silent Disco Hong Kong rents and sells equipment only: you bring the DJ or the playlist. Larger events can add technicians on the night.
How many headphones should we order for an office party?
One for every guest who wants to dance. We help you size the order, and every kit includes spares.
