Silent disco Kwun Tong: East Kowloon's creative side

A silent disco in Kwun Tong fits the district's mix of offices, studios and converted industrial floors, where great parties have to live with thin walls. Our 3-channel headphones keep the sound personal.

Kwun Tong has reinvented itself. Former factory buildings along Hoi Yuen Road and How Ming Street now house design studios, gyms, rehearsal rooms and event spaces, while new office towers rise next to them. The Kwun Tong Promenade opens onto the old Kai Tak runway and the harbour beyond. Kwun Tong is also home to the registered office of Silentsystem Hong Kong Limited, so the district is familiar ground for us. In shared buildings, a headphone party lets you celebrate without upsetting the studio next door.

Although our office is in Kwun Tong, the kit itself ships from our New Territories warehouse, packed and checked, and reaches you one or two days before the event. That leaves time for a sound check with your DJ on the actual equipment. Startups and agencies here often choose a long-term rental for recurring use; compare the options on our rental formulas page.

Where to hold a silent disco in Kwun Tong

Kwun Tong's best party spaces are often hidden on upper floors. Headphones turn them into dance floors without disturbing the neighbours.

Converted industrial floors

Studios and event spaces in revitalised industrial buildings offer high ceilings and raw character. With headphones, the party stays inside your unit and not in the corridor.

Kwun Tong Promenade

The waterfront promenade looks across to the former Kai Tak runway. It is a pleasant place for an evening gathering where music stays in each guest's ears.

Office floors and rooftops

New Grade A towers around Kwun Tong Road have terraces and large open-plan floors. A silent party can start straight after work, at the desk.

APM and the malls

Mall atriums around Kwun Tong MTR station host promotions and pop-ups. A silent disco attracts a crowd without fighting the background noise.

Office parties and team building

A silent disco gets a team moving after hours, and quiz-style games on separate channels make an easy team-building activity. Ideas on our corporate events page.

Studio and gym events

Dance studios and gyms use headphones for themed classes and parties where the instructor speaks on one channel and the music plays on another.

Creative launches

Design brands and agencies present collections in their own studios. A headphone party keeps the vibe cool and the volume within the building's limits.
